Dormitory Application Announcement (2024 Winter Vacation) (Ongoing Selection)

1. Eligibility : All students of this university

Excludes residents currently staying for "semester + vacation, 1 year" in the 2024-2nd semester and those who have completed registration for the first and second rounds of winter vacation application.

It is available for the foreign students to apply for the 2nd, 3rd dormitory only.


2. Residential Period during Winter Vacation [Application selection / No changes allowed later.]

a. Short-term(28 days): 2024. 12. 22.(Sun) ~ 2025. 1. 18.(Sat)

b. Long-term(64 days) : 2024. 12. 22.(Sun) ~ 2024. 2. 23.(Sun)


3. Selection standards

a. Select current residents first, then choose from applicants

b. Rooms not available for application: The 2nd Dormitory, 2 person rooms (public bathroom); The 3rd Dormitory, 3 person room

Submit on the Entrance Day (Excluding health certificates)

Excluding students who submitted for the 1st semester, 2nd semester and summer vacation of 2024

Only authorized for public health centers or hospitals

Exemption from health examination (old health certificate) for food hygiene workers.

Dormitory Pledge

Submit a survey before Entrance Day/Successful applicants will be notified separately.

Without Dormitory Pledge, it is not allowed to enter the dormitory

7. Operation of the Dining Hall within the Dormitory

a. Meal Plan : Mandatory meal plan is one meal a day from Mon to Fri.[weekends and holidays]

b. How to Use : Use Payco for Mandatory meal. Meals outside of mandatory meals must be purchased separately.

1) Short-term : 18 meals

2) Long-term : 40 meals

9. Cancellation of registration, Mid-term Withdrawal, and Refund policy

A. How to Apply for Dormitory Fee Refund

Before Entrance Day(~ 12/21(Sat))

Fees

Refund for the remaining days. However, no refund is available if less than 30 days remain.

Refund for the remaining days. However, if the remaining days are 4weeks(long-term) or less than 2weeks(short-term), no refund is available

 

Withdrawal during the semester is subject to the refund criteria for the semester

Withdrawal during the vacation is subject to the refund criteria for the vacation(long-term)

Will be refunded according to the original Dorm fee

Immediate Expulsion Penalty

A deduction of 100,000 KRW will be applied for each reason before processing the refund.

Meal Plan

Return as many days remaining, excluding leaving weeks

Student Council Fee

No refunds will be issued after the regular move-in date.

If you do not follow the resignation process, you will not get a refund for the dormitory fees

 

10. Attention

  a. The dormitory is not responsible for any problems arising from not being familiar with rules of the dormitory.

  b. There may be a random visit inspection to check the use of prohibited items

  c. Students who have bad sleeping habits such as snoring , teeth grinding, etc cannot enter the dormitory.

  d. If you don't submit the Required Documents, you can't enter(Check No. 6)

  e. Register the correct address, postal code and account number at INHA portal system before applying for the dormitory.

      - Modification of address and zip code is only available at your department office.

Construction may occur within the dormitory during the winter vacation, so we kindly ask for your cooperation. [Notice will be provided before the construction starts.]
